What do you like to do in your spare time?
I might slick my hair back but I love putting on some boots and spending time outdoors with my family hunting, fishing, camping and enjoying God’s creation. My wife and I have been doing music together for 10 years and so in our free time we love spending it writing and playing music as well.
What inspires you?
Good music inspires me. I love me some Luther Vandross.
Why are you in ministry? What emotional reasons?
I have a deep desire to see revival breakout in the Church and for our worship to be authentic, passionate, inspiring and sincere in pleasing the heart of God.
Who is one of your heroes?
My hero was a mentor of mine who is no longer with us. His name is Matt Davidson and he taught me that leading worship was more about loving people then loving music. He taught me that leading a team was more about humility then perfection. And he taught me that success wasn’t measured in music or numbers but was measured in obedience and walking with the Lord.
What is something that is quirky about you?
Crooked picture frames drive me crazy.
